The site is in a state of evolution from its former days as a major employer in the manufacture of steel/ductile products to a site which will bring employment under the name of New Stanton Park.

Road & Rail

New Stanton Park is located 2 miles from the M1 midway between Derby and Nottingham, with both East Midlands Airport and both Derby and Nottingham stations all within less than thirty-minute travel time.

The New Stanton Park site benefits from a comprehensive working rail line connected to the midland mainline – thus having excellent access links to the rest of the country. The only new confirmed HS2 station being planned is at Toton which is only 1 mile from this site.
